We are looking for undergraduate students, who are passionate about technology and motivated to learn, to join our team as an Industrial Placement Software Engineer, starting in the summer of 2025.
The TeamOur Group Tech & Product team are based in our custom-built campuses in Newingreen, Kent. In total, we have more than 150 people working on our product development including engineers, product managers, testers, and designers. You'll collaborate with these team members daily to improve our customers' experience and provide less hassle, so they can have more holiday.
Our engineering teams build the tools our customers need to make their trip better and at the same time get to play with the latest tech. We have an active GitHub community with over 100 users and 450 projects spanning a range of exciting technologies such as, Node, Express, React, and other JavaScript single page applications. There’s no typical day for an Engineer in our team. We have multiple codebases that you will work with during your time and each day provides a new challenge, implementing new features or fixing issues to improve the effectiveness of our website.
The RoleAs a Software Engineer, you could be working on building new features for our booking flow, creating a new customer-facing assistant, integrating with suppliers to enhance our offering, or innovating on our mobile app. You’ll gain all the skills you need to work within a modern tech stack, using technologies including React.js, Node.js, or Swift.

What you can bring to our team:You’ll need to be studying towards a computing, mathematical or computer science related undergraduate or masters degree and require a placement as an assessed part of course in order to be eligible.
You may have already played around with our languages and frameworks of choice, but no prior experience is needed.
